Bill Payment Options

New Glarus Utilities accepts utility payments in the form of cash, check, certified funds, checking/saving account transfers, and/or check/debt cards.  Please make checks or certified funds payable to New Glarus Utilities.

Customers can pay their utility bill by the following options:

In Person:

The utility office is located in Village Hall

319 2nd Street

New Glarus, WI

Hours:  M-F 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

 

Drop Box:

A 24-hour drop box is located outside the front doors of Village Hall at 319 2nd Street.  Another drop box is located outside the utility office door located in Village Hall.

 

Auto Pay (ACH):

Customers can have their bills automatically deducted from their checking or savings account each month.

On-Line Bill Pay:

Customers can view and pay their utility bills through the utility's on-line bill pay system - Xpress Bill Pay.  Click Here.

 

Credit/Debit Card:

Customers can use their credit/debit card to pay for their bill through the utility's on-line bill pay system - Xpress Bill Pay.  Click Here.  The Utility does accept credit/debit cards for payment in the utility office during normal business hours. 

*A $3.00 convenience fee is charged for each $300.00 transaction at the time of transaction.

 

Utility bills are due at the utility office by the 25th of each month, unless the 25th falls on a weekend, or a celebrated holiday, then the utility bills are due the next business day after the 25th.  A 3% penalty (minimum $0.50/per service) is charged to late bills.

A $30.00 charge will be applied to a customer’s account when a check is returned to the utility for non-sufficient funds (NSF).
